About KENNA

Hello!

I'm Mery, and I’m an ice skater and aerial performer. I was born in Argentina, and from the first day I stepped onto an ice rink, I realized that it was my happy place. At 10 years old, I started taking lessons, and despite being born in a country where skating isn't a popular sport and where opportunities were very limited, I always knew I would make a career out of what had then become my passion. My first dream was to compete, but unfortunately that was impossible since there was not a Federation in my country. However, that didn't stop me from thinking I could still make a life out of my passion so, despite all the difficulties that came my way, I was convinced that this fire inside me that I felt every time my skates glided across the ice, would lead me to accomplish that. 

 

Today, I can say that I've been traveling the world for almost 20 years participating in different ice shows, skating and flying on ice. Because I also learned new things and managed to combine my skating with aerial acrobatics discovering more ways to express myself.

My passion gives me the opportunity to live the most incredible experiences. It became my career, my job, and basically, my life, exceeding all my expectations. Why? Because I never gave up and because my convictions were so strong, that they allowed me to open the doors to the life I had always dreamed of.

I know that when I'm doing what makes me happy, I lose track of time, I can be truly myself, my best version. Because I feel strong and powerful, because it challenges me to learn new things and because there's no better place I'd rather be.

 

KENNA was born as a reflection of my story and with a clear goal: to walk along those who make a unique and authentic life out of their passion. A life determined by that activity or skill that makes you happy.
